Today, I lost another friend. One of my best friends. How do you describe a cat that I could literally communicate with? He would tell me when he needed something and lead me right to it. Murphy was perfection. He understood me, calmed me when I was upset and comforted me when I was sad. He even ran to the basement where there was no carpet when he had a furrball! We bring pets into our lives and their unconditional love is so reassuring. It's so hard to say good-bye and know that my little fluff ball won't be there tonight, tomorrow or ever.
Good-bye Murphy Poppins, please say hi to Snickers, Gertie and Nougat for me. Thank you for being a wonderful friend and companion. Thank you for tolerating my grumpiness and silliness. I am sorry that there were days I took you for granted. I would have loved for Tatiana to have met you. I will miss you every day.

Amy - I am so sad for your loss. I know what a blessing and a joy it is to have a faithful, furry friend with you. I have had 'wakes' for my pets where we celebrate their lives. Just a thought .. Oh, Amy! I am so, so sorry for your loss. I know how hard it is and it's a pain we never truly get over! Murphy is now in catnip heaven, chasing birds, eating fresh shrimp and chicken daily and basking in the sunlight. Big hugs!

I've been away on a little vacation and to come back and read this sad news is not what I was expecting. I'm sure this is a very hard day for you. Sometimes I can't believe I have this immense love for my little chocolate lab. She means the world to me and more and I often wonder how I'll be able to handle it when her day comes. I feel for you today and all that you're experiencing. Pets have such unconditional beautiful love. They are the best! I hope you can celebrate all those happy moments and know how wonderful you made Murphy's long life.
Oh Amy, I am I sooo sorry for the loss of your furry, loving best friend. I think God put pets in our life to teach us so much about unconditional love. Of course all cats go to heaven: )

Amy, I am terribly sorry for your loss. It's so hard to lose a pet as we treat them just like a regular family member. I'm sure Murphy met up with Gertie and Nougat and they are having the best time. Take care - and look forward to more happiness!
