I heard from my agency today. Apparently our agency contacts in Vladivostok are waiting on a final document for Little T, the one that releases her from the national database. This paper has to come all the way from Moscow via Russian snail mail and reach Vladivostok. I am not sure what's taking so long since I've been back since 10/25, but alas it is. They thought they'd receive the paperwork last week but they did not, so hopefully any day now. From there, her dossier and my dossier go to court together.
So that's the big kicker. My paperwork hasn't even gone to court yet. I thought it would have been there two weeks ago. Argh!!!
I realize this news is 100 times better than bad news, but the waiting... well, you can all imagine. It's KILLER. Happy Monday all.

You are in my thoughts and hope you hear something soon.
Well... and we all know how patient you are. :-) I'm sorry you've hit this snag, but this is a tiny bump in the road. You can deal with this, and hopefully everything else will go smoothly!
It all good, it's on it's way. It is a Russian mystery why the mail takes so long. It is probably faster than the American system! Try getting her paperwork here - ack. It was easier in Russia!
Little T is in good hands. She is! Really!!!! Have you got everything for trip 2? Because when you find out you will have one week to get everything together. Focus grasshopper! Pack that big suitcase - travel time is nearing...
:P jesse
So sorry it's taking so long. One of my biggest frustrations with adopting here was how slow it is: it defies logic sometimes just how long it can take one official to put one stamp on one piece of paper! But Heaven help you if you don't have that stamp :)
Fingers crossed for you that your agency can get your paperwork and T's all submitted before the holiday period.
Waiting is so hard and my thoughts are with you. I am glad you at least got the update and it sounds like it's working it's way through. We'll be praying for the paperwork to fly through.
I am so happy that they gave you an update. You are right your agency is wonderful. I am sure that you will be traveling soon.

Hi! Stumbled in from somewhere...we're from Michigan, too - Lansing and have adopted four from Russia...though all older children.
Good luck on your adoption - how I'd love to do it again!!!
